RHOME / QUADRA is seeking a Designer to support the development and execution of luxury staging and turnkey residential projects. This role focuses on translating design concepts into fully realized spaces, working across all phases from planning through on-site installation.

You will collaborate closely with internal design, buying, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with brand standards and fast-paced project timelines.

The ideal candidate has experience in interior design and staging, strong spatial and styling skills, and thrives in a detail-oriented, execution-driven environment.

Location: NYC Remote + Office & Warehouse located in Secaucus, NJ (Hybrid)

Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 per year

Job description:
RHOME / QUADRA is a leader in luxury staging and turnkey services within the high-end residential real estate market, seeking an Interior Designer to support the creative development and execution of elevated staging and turnkey design projects.

This role is responsible for driving design concepts from development through installation, ensuring all projects meet brand standards, design intent, and fast-paced execution timelines. The Interior Designer works closely with internal design, buying, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure workflows are followed and projects are delivered efficiently and accurately in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design Development & Execution

  • Develop interior design concepts for luxury staging and turnkey residential projects.
  • Create floor plans, layouts, and presentations aligned with brand aesthetic and target market.
  • Support consistent design quality across multiple active projects.

Project Execution & Installation Support

  • Manage projects from concept through installation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are met.
  • Oversee on-site staging installations, furniture placement, and final styling execution.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues while maintaining design integrity and project flow.

Internal Coordination & Workflow Management

  • Communicate regularly with logistics, operations, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure workflows are executed correctly.
  • Ensure design outputs align with inventory availability, delivery schedules, and installation timelines.
  • Track project progress and support alignment across all internal stakeholders.

Sourcing & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with buying and procurement teams on furniture, décor, and material selections.
  • Ensure design decisions align with budget, availability, and operational constraints.
    Support efficient handoff between design, purchasing, and installation teams.

Trend & Industry Awareness

  • Stay current on luxury interior design, staging trends, materials, and furnishings.
  • Contribute fresh design ideas that enhance staging impact and market appeal.
  • Continuously refine design execution standards across projects.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in interior design, staging, or luxury residential design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating residential or staging design work.
  • Experience managing projects through installation and execution phases.
  • Strong understanding of furniture, materials, and spatial design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal cross-functional teams (design, logistics, operations, procurement).
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid structure with on-site project work, office days, and remote days
